About Gretchen

As a third-generation native Tulsan, I’ve spent my entire life listening to stories from my parents and grandparents about growing up in this beautiful city. I have one grandparent who was born on an Indian Reservation just north of town and one grandparent who was the child of German immigrants. This has given me very different stories and perspectives. When reading and researching Tulsa, I love to find where the stories I was raised with overlap with recorded history.

In 2016 I took my first tour with Kelly and I was hooked on Tulsa history! After becoming an empty nester, I realized the time was right to get to do something that I loved. A job where I get to meet new people from all over the world and share my love of Tulsa is the icing on the cake for me. I look forward to meeting you and sharing the history of my hometown with you!
